Rentjewels.com – a portal that allows buyers to Rent Designer Jewellery Online
Rentjewels.com has the unique concept of allowing its visitors to rent jewelry online directly from the website. Our project for Taruna Biyani included an extension of her portal so that a set of her products could be rented to buyers.
What were our challenges?
The goal was to create a platform that allowed buyers to book jewelry pieces on a limited basis. Booking fees were charged for each piece of jewelry, as well as a security deposit.A buyer should have the option of sorting, searching, or renting products based on category and length of rental duration.
A Resolution
Admins were provided with a website that allowed them to manage their daily product listings, check here deactivate products, and process orders.This program tracked who bought what and how long it took to return it.Automated reminders and expiry lists were provided to clients and administrators.An automatic recalculation of the amount due from the buyer was performed if a delay in return occurred.
